Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary and Visitor's Center -- 11704 Fenno Rd., Upper Marlboro

Ever wondered what animals lurk in your backyard? The animal tracks program at Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary will teach you just that, along with the ways our ancestors and modern day hunters use tracking techniques for survival and recreational purposes. This program is geared toward children and adults.

NOTE: The bridge on Fenno Rd. is closed and there is a detour to Merkle. Instead of taking a left onto St. Thomas Church road continue on Croom Road.

Turn left on Nottingham Road and another left onto Fenno Road. Follow the road to the barricades (ignore bright orange signs) and turn right into Merkle. There are also brown signs that will direct you to Merkle. Please call 301-888-1377 for more information.
