The following students from Upper Marlboro made the dean's list during the fall 2011 semester.

Cornell University

Muxin Yu was named to the dean's list of the College of Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the fall 2011 semester at Cornell University in New York.

Frostburg State University

Travis Blair was named to the dean's list at Frostburg State University for outstanding academic achievement for the fall 2011 semester.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Loyola University Maryland

Chelsey Thomas was named to the fall 2011 dean's list at Loyola University Maryland with a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.

Miami University

Madeline G. Turner was named to the Miami University dean's list for achieving a 3.5 or better grade point average for the fall 2011 semester.

Miami University is a public university located in southwestern Ohio.

Washington University

Sara Elizabeth Harris was named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Harris is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences.

To qualify for the dean's list in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
