Roger Leonard to Speak on Addiction, Recovery

The brother of Sugar Ray Leonard will read excerpts of his book on his personal experiences with drug addiction and his path to sobriety.

Prince George’s Community College Literally Speaking featured author series presents a book reading by author and Bowie resident Roger Leonard,  June 22, 6:30 p.m., Rennie Forum on the Largo campus.  Leonard will lecture and read excerpts from his book, In the Shadow of a Champ: Pathway to Sobriety. The older brother of Sugar Ray Leonard, he chronicles his personal experiences with drug addiction, rehabilitation and sobriety. The event is free and open to the public.
