Restaurant Offers Food Deal for a Kiss

Would you kiss someone in public on Valentine's Day to get free food? The kiss is what seals the "buy one, get one free" deal offered by on Feb. 14.

A news release from Qdoba states the kiss could be shared with "a significant other, friend, family member or even an understanding stranger."

No coupon is required for guests at the Upper Marlboro location who purchase one entrée on Valentine’s Day and then share a kiss at the cash register to receive a second entrée (of equal or lesser value) for free, according to a release.

“Last year we debuted our BOGO for a Kiss Valentine’s Day promotion and thousands of Qdoba guests lined up to share a smooch and receive a great Qdoba offer in return,” said Karen Guido, Qdoba’s chief marketing officer, in a release.

Note that the "buy one, get one free" offer must be redeemed at the time of purchase (and not saved for later).
