Need fun New Year's Eve plans? Look into these places.

Event: Stonefish Grill's New Year's Eve Dinner

Why:
Want an upscale meal to celebrate 2012? Try Stonefish Grill. For $25 you can enjoy a salmon, steak or chicken entree, dessert and champagne toast at midnight. They will also have live jazz music, so you can ring in the New Year in style.

Event: Smokey Bones New Year’s Party
Where:
When: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Cost: $35 per person.
Age: 21 and older to sit at the bar, all ages at tables; reservations strongly recommended.
Why: Enjoy a three-course meal, party favors, lively music and more.

Event: New Year's Eve at Federal House

Age: 21 and older
Why: Want to eat fun food on New Years? Enjoy Bar Louie's appetizer buffet and open bar. They will also have a DJ and party favors that are sure to help start 2012 off right.

Event: Capitol City New Year's Eve

When: 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Cost: $5 in advance, $10 at the door
Age: 21 and older
Why: Celebrate 2012 with champagne at midnight, a DJ and $6 select signature cocktail specials. Cap City has excellent food and a wide selection of beers that is sure to add up to a good time.
