Fall Maryland Home & Garden Show

As winter approaches, children return to school and the holidays near, homeowners have the perfect opportunity this fall to focus on preparing their indoor and outdoor spaces for cooler weather and family gatherings. The Maryland Home & Garden Show is the best place to begin planning fall projects for updating, remodeling and redecorating a “Home for the Holidays,”—this year’s theme—that’s ready for family entertainment.  Highlights of the show, now in its 32nd year, will include:

More than 300 exhibitors: Hundreds of knowledgeable contractors, landscapers, designers and house product gurus will be on hand to answer questions and help visitors get started with, continue on or add the finishing touch to home improvement projects of any size.

Antiques Matchmaker:
Cari Cucksey, host of HGTV’s hit television estate sale show Cash and Cari, will share her repurpose and repair secrets for transforming dusty relics into fabulous finds.

Sandman of Ocean
City, MD: Randy Hofman, the famed sand sculptor most known for his beach creations along the boardwalk in OC, will dazzle guests during daylong sculpting sessions.

Pumpkin Carver: Award-winning and nationally-exhibited sculptor Gabriel Vinas will create incredible sculptures out of the popular fall, gourd-like squash.

Better Living
Exhibits: A special section of the show will feature exciting travel options, delicious gourmet food purveyors, and unique health and beauty products.

Landscaped Gardens:
Visitors will walk through beautifully-landscaped seasonal settings that incorporate hardscaping, native trees and shrubs, and colorful fall flowers into gardens and yards to see how local landscaping professionals can create stunning outdoor spaces.

ASID Consultations:
Members of the American Society of Interior Designers will provide ideas and inspiration for any design challenge during their complimentary consultations.

Maryland
Juried Craft Show: More than 100 juried craftspeople will display and sell their original crafts perfect for holiday gift giving, including jewelry, home accessories, decorative and functional pottery, homemade candles, fine art and photography.

Tickets to the Maryland Home & Garden Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and free for children under 6 years old. Receive $2 off a ticket purchase at the door with a valid IKEA Family card.
