Teach 'em to Fish, a Largo-based nonprofit group that helps disadvantaged people get a fresh start and become economically self-sustaining, will host its first Community Fundraising Reception at the Forest Heights Community Center. Teach 'em to Fish has three primary objectives: transforming lives, launching businesses and strengthening communities. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted throughout the evening.
Teach ’em to Fish was created in early June by Gateway to Wholeness Church Ministries, a small, nondenominational Christian church based in Largo.
