A sampling of the evening’s features are an open beer and wine bar with an hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a seated dinner by Chef’s Expressions, and a viewing of the “Through the Mind’s Eye” Art Exhibit and Silent Auction where select pieces of pottery, jewelry, sculpture, and paintings will be displayed and sold.  Live music will fill set a hopeful ambiance which will eventually lead to the presentation of the 2013 Opening Minds Award to the Honorable Gale E. Rasin, retired associate Judge, Baltimore City Circuit Court. She will be recognized for her important work in establishing a Mental Health Case Management Docket, the first in Maryland. In addition, we are hosting a Community Voices Committee, including among others, Mrs. Sylvia Mackey and City Council President Bernard “Jack” Young. They will assist in illuminating the pervasiveness of mental illness and motivate others to serve our worthy cause.
