Here's How You Prevent Candle Fires

Finally, you should have working smoke alarms installed on every level of your home, test them monthly and keep them clean and equipped with fresh batteries at all times. Know when and how to call for help. And remember to practice your home escape plan.

The Prince George's County Safety First Program will provide County residents with a working smoke alarm and install it for you, free of charge. Call Safety First Smoke Alarm Program at 301-864-7233.
