South River Restoration Wins Big

The local restoration and remodeling company's President and CEO Bryan Agee was selected as one of the top remodeling executives in the nation.

Bryan Agee, president and CEO of local remodeling company South River Restoration (SSR) was honored last month as one of the top remodeling company executives in the nation.

Each year, Remodeling magazine selects selects 50 remodeling company owners to join their Big50. The 2012 Big50 exemplify the highest industry standards through professionalism, integrity, craftsmanship and business practices, and also have a large community and industry impact, according to a press release issued by SSR.

SSR, located in Upper Marlboro, specializes in restoring homes and businesses damaged by natural disasters ranging from floods to fires.

“We are very honored to receive this distinction,” said Agee in a press release. “The award recognizes excellence and leadership, and we are privileged to be named to this select group of remodelers.”

Nominations for the 2012 Big50 are made by Remodeling editors, industry leaders, and companies themselves, and are selected for the following categories following a lengthy interview and evaluation process: business savvy, fine design, industry impact, market wise, movers & shakers, niches, sales & marketing, and teamwork.  SSR was selected for exemplifying teamwork, according to the magazine.
