It's not just anti-gun diners who don't want to see weapons in restaurants — corporate owners are sounding off, too.
Sonic and Chili’s are the latest restaurant chains to tell patrons to leave their guns at home.
That news followed an announcement earlier this month from Chipotle that guns are not welcomed in its restaurants.

"We recognize that the open carry of firearms in restaurants creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and is not permitted under many local liquor laws," Chili's said in a statement.
Open Carry Texas has been holding demonstrations at businesses in the state, including openly carrying weapons at Home Depot on Saturday. Earlier this month, members brought assault-style weapons into different restaurant chains, leading businesses to review their gun policies, according to USA Today.
