Horse Meat Found in Some Frozen IKEA Meatballs

U.S. stores are said to be unaffected.

People line up for those Swedish meatballs at IKEA each Sunday, but a new finding may deter those lines.

Traces of horse meat have been found in some of the frozen meatballs distributed by furniture giant IKEA, USA Today reports.

An IKEA spokesperson told the paper that the meatballs were distributed to several countries in Europe and were taken off the shelves. Shipments of the meatballs to the United States were not affected.
