Flight Delays and Cancellations at Baltimore, Washington-Area Airports

Bad weather in other parts of the country is contributing to problems.

By Todd Richissin

Snow and ice in the Northeast were contributing to significant flight delays Tuesday at Reagan National and Dulles airports, with several airports in the New York region temporarily closed to incoming flights.

Baltimore-Washington International Airport was reporting moderate delays, with flights from the Northeast the most problematic.

National Airport was reporting significant, and growing, delays Tuesday, with some flights canceled altogether and more expected as snow continues to fall.

At Dulles International Airport, fewer delays have been reported, but travelers were being urged to check with their airlines for updates.
