Wale Says He's Singing at RGIII's Wedding

Looks like Robert Griffin III has found his wedding singer—and it’s none other than Prince George’s native Wale.

Wale was promoting his new album, “The Gifted” on New York hip hop station HOT97 Tuesday morning when a surprise caller dialed in: RGIII.

The rapper announced he would perform at Griffin’s wedding after chatting with the Redskins quarterback on the show.

“I’m gonna be at the wedding, though. I’ma be there,” Wale said on air. “Me and Griff gonna perform at that wedding.”

Griffin is expected to marry his longtime fiancee Rebecca Liddicoat this summer, according to a FoxDC interview with Griffin’s mother in May.

The quarterback is a fan of Wale’s music and praised his new album as “straight fire” on Twitter this week.
