Prince George's Arts and Humanities Council Unveiling

County Executive Rushern L. Baker and Council Chair Ingrid M. Turner will unveil the new Prince George's Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) at this special public ceremony in the First Floor Media Room of the County Administration Building. New legislation was established in December 2010 to expand the role of PGAHC to include the humanities as part of its core mission. The new board will also be announced, and will for the first time ever include representatives from both the County Executive and County Council. PGAHC is a non-profit organization designated by the county to coordinate financial support and advocacy for the arts.
