After a long string of drawings without a winner, the Powerball jackpot has been raised to $235 million, Maryland Lottery officials announced Monday.

The prize has a $136.5 million cash option. The next drawing will be held Wednesday.

The Maryland Lottery is one of 45 lotteries nationwide that participate in the Powerball drawing.
