"The Help" and "Wimpy Kid" Most Popular Books Read At County Library

Patch lists the top 10 books read by adults and children in Prince George's County Memorial Library System in 2011.

Prince George’s County residents were reading the classics and books in series this year, according to circulation numbers from the county's public library system.

Robin Jacobsen, of the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, compiled the lists of the top 10 books in circulation for adults and children.

"Patterson continues to dominate, but young adult titles from Suzanne Collins pop up and the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and the "Twilight" trio linger," Jacobsen writes. "Classics to fill the high school students’ needs will always be strong."
