Low-cost Pet Vaccinations in Upper Marlboro Today

Vaccinations and tests will be available for less than $30.

Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources’ Animal Management Division will offer a low-cost wellness and vaccine clinic for pets Thursday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The vaccines will be available at the Spay Spot Clinic, which is located at the Animal Services Facility, 3750 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro.

All of the vaccines are available for less than $30 each, plus the cost of the office visit ($10). A rabies vaccination is only $15, while a Heartworm and Tick Borne Disease Test is $30. Other vaccines and tests include the FVRCP for respiratory illness and Feline Distemper ($20), DHLPP for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo and Parainfluenza ($24), Lyme Vaccine ($24), a Bordetella Vaccine for Kennel Cough ($24), and the Feline Leukemia/AIDS Test ($30).

The Spay Spot Clinic opened in 2011 and offers low-cost spay and neuter services in addition to vaccines. There is some funding available for residents who cannot afford pet surgery.
