Heat Advisory Issued for Prince George's County

Temperatures expected to reach at least 100 degrees.

The National Weather Service is forecasting another hot day today, with temperatures reaching at least 100 degrees in Prince George's County.

A heat advisory will remain in effect from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. as the heat index could reach 109 degrees.

The State Highway Administration has alerted motorists to check their vehicles for damage and to make sure all fluids — like motor oil, antifreeze, windshield wiper fluid — are at the correct levels.
