Art Contest For Local Girl Scouts

Upper Marlboro Girl Scouts can participate in regional contest.

Feeling artsy? The Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital is having an arts contest in which Upper Marlboro girl scouts can have their work featured at the National Portrait Gallery.

To enter, you can create a self portrait, take a photo, make a quilt, create a drawing or a graphic design to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts. Your troop can submit a piece as a group.

Submit your artwork by Feb. 20. Email jbraun@gscnc.org for more information.
