Newton's Law Violated?!?

Prince George's County government and law enforcement have been crowing about the reduction in crime for months and years. When I  moved into the county from Montgomery Co. just over 15 years ago I was shocked at the increase in all of my insurance rates. The insurance companies informed me the rate increases were due to the much higher crime rate here as opposed to there. I have been waiting to see what level of crime reduction must be reached to trigger a reduction in my current insurance rates but I'm beginning to feel it is in vain. It would appear there is no equal and opposite reaction when it comes to insurance costs. Call your insurance company and lodge a complaint about the rates today, have your grand kids video your complaints put it on-line and make it go viral, start a insurance rate protest blog of your own, etc. etc. etc....maybe the combined voices of the citizens in the county will prompt our representatives on the hill and in Upper Marlboro to ask the insurance industry some pointed questions.
