Join neighbors and friends in helping to make our communities cleaner by taking part in a Trash Cleanup along Southern Avenue and Oxon Run in the Oxon Hill/Glassmanor area of Prince George's County Saturday, Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is a collaborative effort among the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, the Glassmanor/Oxon Hill Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative (TNI), Eastover Shopping Center, Alice Ferguson Foundation, Town of Forest Heights, and community members from the District of Columbia's Ward 8.
Following the cleanup, refreshments will be served at the Forest Heights Municipal Building, located at 5508 Arapahoe Drive, Forest Heights, MD 20745.
