The Bowie Elite Baseball Club's 9/10U and 11/12U travel teams will hold placement workouts for the upcoming fall baseball season. The 9/10U team will meet this Wednesday, August 22 from 6:30-8:00 at Allen Pond Park-field #1, Friday, August 24 from 6:30-8:00 at Blacksox Park, Field #4 and Sunday, August 26 from 3:00-5:00 at Allen Pond Park-Field# 2. The 11/12 U team will meet this Friday at Blacksox Park-Field #3 from 6:30-8:00 and the 13/14U team will meet this Friday from 6:30-8:30 at the 90' diamond at Blacksox Park.

More About Allen Pond Park
Allen Pond Park is in the heart of Bowie, not far from the Bowie Town Center. The 85-acre park is one of the most diverse in the area, with everything from horeshoes to ice skating available. There is an amphitheater, trails, playgrounds, a skate park and athletic fields (use by permit only). There is also a stocked, 10-acre fishing pond, which requires a permit for any person over 16.
