Woman Killed in Elementary School Parking Lot
According to reports, the woman was hit Monday in the parking lot of Samuel Chase Elementary School in Temple Hills.
Prince George’s County Schools Superintendent William R. Hite Jr. issued a statement regarding the death of a woman Monday in the parking lot of Samuel Chase Elementary School in Temple Hills.
“I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the victim,” Hite wrote in a statement. “We are working closely with the Prince George’s County Police Department to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
According to The Gazette, a woman died outside the school after she was struck and trapped under a school system maintenance van. The county fire department responded to the school and found the woman trapped under the vehicle without a pulse. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful.
School was closed for students on Monday because of a previously scheduled professional day for teachers.

What is stereotyping about wondering if a driver employed by an elementary school system as a driver was impaired? One assumes that by being a driver at an elementary school, he knows to be indiligent about being overly cautious.

It amazes me the lack of empathy shown by your ignorant comment. Do you have a mother, grand-mom, an aunt? Would they be on drugs in the school parking lot?
If they were mauled to their death would that have been your comment? One can assume, there is no God in your foundational upbringing. But this is not about you.
So we will lift up that family in our prayers and pray God will reign down his peace and understanding, but that he will also have mercy on you.

It is such a shame that people would be so heartless as to think this tragedy is funny first of all then turn around pointing fingers as to weather who is or is not on drugs!!! These are human beings!! The familys world as they have known it with this young women is over, they are grief stricken. People grow up!! And may our FATHER IN HEAVEN BRING THEM COMFORT , PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING . I ASK THIS IN YOUR SONS NAME CHRIST JESUS, AMEN

Hello im one of the victim's sons...I thank all who have prayed for and sent their condolences to my as well as the driver's family it is very heart whelming. However its unfortunate that some individuals choose to respond to this tragedy in ignorant and senseless ways. Its very difficult to read such harsh statements and I ask that in the future those individuals think about how what they type will affect others. Thank you
