Two occupants were displaced after a Sunday night house fire in Upper Marlboro, according to Prince George’s County Fire Department.

Rescue personnel responded to the 14200 block of Rutherford Road for the report of a two-story, single-family home with heavy fire coming from the rear of the house, Prince George’s Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady reported via Twitter.

Units were able to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, Brady said.
