Police Call Death of Capitol Heights Woman 13th Homicide

A death Friday morning is now one more in a growing number of homicides in the county this year.

 

County police have ruled the death of a Capitol Heights woman Prince George's County's 13th homicide since the beginning of 2011, the Washington Post reports.

The woman, who has been identified as Alitha Mae Jenkins, 51, of the 2400 block of Kent Village Place, was found just after 8 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Olive Street, according to the report.

Police have only just recently ruled the death a homicide.
