Police Announce Cash Reward For Information on Killing of Ft. Washington Student

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for a valuable tip in the homicide case of Marcus Antonio Jones, according to police.

 

Detectives are seeking the public's help in solving the killing of 16-year-old Marcus Antonio Jones in Fort Washington Sunday.

Jones, a student at Friendly High School, was the victim of a shooting by an unknown assailant, police said.

A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect or suspects, police announced Tuesday.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925. Police say callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1 (866) 411-TIPS (8477), text “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to the police's website and submit a tip online.
