On Saturday, residents from here and beyond ventured to The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro for the annual Black Rodeo. Men and women rode horses, and demonstrated their calf roping skills.
During an intermission, some children rode sheep. Here's the weekend in pictures.

Looks like it was a great event. Would have like to have gone to it. I didn't see if announced prior to the event though.

Wonderful pictures of a great event! It was fun for everyone; I took my mama and the baby and none of us were bored. If you missed it this year, make plans for next year :)
