PGCPS to Hold Systemic "Lockdown" Drills Tuesday

No persons will be allowed to enter or exit the buildings during the 20 minute "code red lock down" drill.

 

On Tuesday at 10 a.m. Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) will hold a system wide lockdown safety drill, according to notifications received by area parents. 

"The purpose of the drill is for staff and students to practice our safety procedures," stated a recorded messaged to parents on both Friday and Sunday evenings.

The drill will reportedly last 15 to 20 minutes. During the drill, no one will be allowed to enter or exit the school buildings.

Marlton Elementary School

Perrywood Elementary School

Phylis E Williams Elementary School

Patuxent Elementary School

Melwood Elementary School

Arrowhead Elementary School
