Greenwood school in Hyattsville is the best, bar none. We've had our kids at several centers over the years, and Greenwood combines the highest standards of professionalism with a real pracitical point of view informed by its teachers, many of whom have worked there for years and years.

Heritage Child Care is wonderful! We've been there for almost two years- the teachers are loving, the director is supportive and attentive, and the children have so many opportunities to learn including music classes, English and Spanish instruction, and through play.

Hyattsville Hills Child and Family Care have been excellent in educating both of my children. They have gone on to read above grade level in their perspective grades. The staff has always been supportive of their needs, and they do a very good job of incorporating music, arts, prayer, and recognizing and celebrating key events and holidays throughout the year as well as celebrating different cultures.

I would say that Little Foot Enrichment Learning Center in Accokeek is a great day care. They give you a daily report of what you child did that day. The teachers all have college degrees. The facility has cameras and audio for everyone's protection. Children are kept busy with a curriculum. The facility is locked during the day so you cannot even drive up unless they are expecting you. They are very well organized. They provide you with a monthly calendar of activities.Teach different languages. Have program to get the parents involved. They have a new website littlefootcenter.com We visited several day cares and when we saw this one, we knew our search was over. The place is clean and you can start off from a young baby to 12 years of age. They have computers that are kids sized and the infants are kept in a separate building from the older kids. So I would like to nominate the Little Foot Enrichment Learning Center in Accokeek.

CENTRAL AVENUE DAY CARE!!! If you want to go to work and not even think about your child's well being, this is the place. While curriculum and safety is important, I want my child to be happy as well. After going through periods of leaving my child crying, it was so refreshing that he gathered his belonging and ready to go as well pull into the parking lot! The staff is strict and family oriented. It's like leaving your child with family. They make each child important as I have heard them describe children in very positive ways. Their positive attitudes make you want to hang around in the evenings to see the cute things they say about the kids while in free play. At last year's "graduation ceremony", a previous patron told how he was left with his children to raise alone and had little money for day care. He told how the owner urged him to work and pay what he could. That happened not too long ago. I don't know of many businesses that are a pillar of the community as this one. If you want peace of mind while taking on the strains at work, this is the place to take your child.

Heritage Learning Center(Heritage Child Care Center), Hyattsville, Md is an awesome and friendly child care center. The staff always greets you with a smile, is positive and encouraging. The director is attentive and recognizes all the children. The children learn through play, academics including a curriculum, bi-lingual instruction and Kindermusik! Recently, they created a habitat with live animals. The next project is offering specialized therapy services including PT, OT and SPL starting July 1, 2012.. I love that they accept children with or without disabilities. I recommend and nominate Heritage!!

I would like to nominate Heritage Learning Center (Heritage Child Care) as the best daycare ever! My son was enrolled in Heritage in fall of 2011 and it was the best decision I ever made.

My son and I both love Heritage Learning Center! The teachers are all very nice, and I love the bi-lingual instruction, Kindermusik and the "animal room" (fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds). The director is very on top of things. I would definitely recommend them.

Heritage Learning Center gets my vote! The center is inviting, clean, and fun, with a great staff and a wonderful director. The teachers are friendly and excited to teach everyday. The director is more then available for the parents and calls every child by name, which I think is great. The curriculum and classroom management of the center is also fantastic. I recommend Heritage Learning Center to all my friends because my son loves it!
